Warwick Davis is still alive so they could get him to reprise the role which would be hella dope but hopefully doesn't end up a weird meh type of show/movie revival like Willow, which if you didnt know- they made that into a TV Series recently on Disney and it's a continuation of the story from the 1988 George Lucas made fantasy movie but there is no Val Kilmer in the show because he is basically almost dead IRL.
